It is the mountain of the Seven Colors, also known as Vinicunca or Arcoíris. The mountain is located in the Cordillera del Vilcanota at 5020 meters above sea level, in the district of Pitumarca. Its slopes and peaks are tinged with stripes of intense shades of fuchsia, turquoise, lavender and gold, red, purple, green, pink and other variations. This tourist attraction was surrounded by ice not many years ago. Since 2016, this place receives hundreds of visitors a day, becoming, together with Machu Picchu, one of the most visited places in Cusco-Peru.
We pick you up from 4 to 4:20 in the morning then we drive for 2 hours to breakfast spot after we drive 1 more hour to the begining of the hike Pulapata wasi located al 4,650 meters a.s l. Here we start to hike for about 2 hours to the summit Vinincunca located at 5,036 meters here we have free time for pictures then you have the option to go to the red mountains or red valley then back to the bus and drive to the restaurant for lunch then back to Cusco arriving arround 4:30 in the afternoon.
