Summary of the Inca Trail tour 4 days

  • Day 1: Cusco - Huayllabamba

  • Day 4: Wiñaywayna - Machu Picchu - Aguas Caliente - Cusco

Itinerary

1st Day.- Cusco - Km 82 – Wayllabamba

We pick you up from your hotel in the morning then we drive for 2 hours to km 82 where you'll start your nice 4 days Inka trail. The elevation in this point is 2,700 m.a.s l. There is a cheek point where you have to show your passport to be officially in the Inka traill this day you are going to do the trek for arround 3 hours until lunch spot along the way you'll see nice landscapes and some Inka sites after lunch you are going to do the trek arround 2:30 more hours to the campsite. located at 3,000 m.a.s.l. Here you'll have nice tea and dinner then you' ll go to bed in the nice tent.

2nd Day.- Wayllabamba - Pacaymayo

You'll have nice weak up coca tea then breakfast and next you'll start to do your second day trek this day is the challenge day because you are going up from 3,000 meters to 4,200 meters for about 5 hours to the summit WARMI WAÑUSKA, that means the dead womans pass here you'll have time for nice pictures then you are going down for 2 more hours to the campsite Pacaymayu located at 3,600 m.a.s.l. Here you'll have lunch then you can rest and you'll have tea and dinner too, then bed time.

3rd Day.- Pacaymayo - Wiñaywayna

Early weak up coca tea or coffe then breakfast after you'll start to do your trek and you are going up 300 meters in about 1:30 hours along the way you'll see a nice Inka complex RUNKURACAY, also on the way down you'll see SAYACMARKA , other nice Inka complex then you'll continue one more hour to PHUYUPATA MARKA, located at 3,600m.a.s.l.
Here you'll have luch then you are going down for arround 3:30 hours to the next campsite WIÑAYHUAYNA or gor ever joung located at 2,600 m.a.s.l. Here you'll have tea and dinner then here you'll have time to say thanks to our porters and to give some tips, then bed time.

4th Day.- Wiñaywayna - Machu Picchu - Cusco

Early weak up time 3:30 in the morning breakfast and then you'll go to the check point then we go for one hour to the sun gate here if you'll have great time you'll see MACHUPICCHU and take nice pictures then you'll go down to MACHUPUCCHU take more pictures then go to the check point and use the facilities and then visit this nice Inka city and do the tour for arround 2 hours then you'll go down by bus to Aguas Calientes have lunch then you'll take the train back to Ollantaytambo then bus back to Cusco.
